GETTING HERE

Directions & Travel

BY CAR

From Ely: Head west on the A142 towards Chatteris. Continue past Mepal village — do not turn off into the village. After crossing the Mepal bridge, Mirror Lake is immediately on your right.

Free on-site parking is available for all session guests.

BY TRAIN

The nearest mainline station is Ely, served by regular trains from Cambridge (15 min), London King's Cross (75 min) and Peterborough (30 min).

From Ely station, the lake is approximately 8 miles west. A taxi or pre-arranged transfer is recommended.

ON ARRIVAL

Please arrive 10 minutes before your session start time. Your guide will meet you at the entrance gate.

Parking is on the right as you enter the site. Follow the gravel path to the lakeside welcome point.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Setting

Mirror Lake is a private water — no day-ticket anglers, no crowds, no noise. Just your family, your guide, the fish and the sound of the countryside.

The lake is stocked with carp, tench, roach and perch. The bankside meadow provides the perfect spot for your lakeside picnic, with shaded areas under the willows and open grass.
